Gerlitzen Alpe Ski Area. The summit plateau of the Gerlitzen Alpe north of Lake Ossiacher cannot be overlooked. Pleasure skiers can make their turns and snowboarders can make their tracks on 39 kilometers of slopes and 25 Ski Runs. The sun is always in your face, so close to heaven!

It is a powder paradise: wide slopes, comfortable and exciting runs, 25 perfectly prepared Ski Runs and endless panoramic views...the Gerlitzen Alpe is considered the Top Family Ski Area in Carinthia and is the only Certified Ski Area for Families with Children and (re-)Beginners.

The Gerlitzen Alpe offers everything for perfect and unforgettable family ski days, starting with the convenient and comfortable lifts and the well-prepared, wide slopes, through the Children's and Snow Bear Areas and the optimal care from the Ski School and Ski Rental, to family-friendly accommodation and child-friendly restaurants. Children can make their first turns in one of the three large practice areas on the mountain (middle station/Kanzelhöhe, Bergeralm, Klösterle/Arriach) and Snow Bear Land: where the Gerlitzen Bino Bear motivates the little ones and dances and plays with them. While parents ski across the slopes, educationally trained and certified children's ski instructors support the children in their beginnings.
